Even though quite a few tablets have been lined up for release this year, only a few have been announced as of now. This invariably means that we rely on rumors and speculations about the release dates as well as specifications of these tablets as of today, and that makes it difficult to say which will be the best. As we mentioned earlier, the next tablet to hit the stores will be Motorola Xoom which is scheduled for release on 24th February, 2011. This Android-based tablet computer from Motorola will also be the first of the numerous upcoming Honeycomb tablets lined up for release this year. In fact, it is believed that the new Android tablet specific operation system will be released with Xoom itself. (See Android 3.0 Honeycomb release date.) Features like Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS, Nvidia Tegra 2: 1 GHz dual-core processor, multiple connectivity options, etc. surely make Motorola Xoom look quite impressive.
